Hello, everyone! Didya miss me?

Haha, wow... I'm sorry about my absence, I decided to take a well-needed break. My break was mainly about getting everything at home sorted out, researching and doing study materials, along with studying for the exams that just ended today, (Thank God!) and I also had to clear my head and start over on some of the requests that I aim to have done by the end of next week. (Sorry, they are taking so long, I just really needed a break.) Heh, I should have said something, huh? Oh well, I hope you all can forgive me for not giving you a heads-up on me leaving.

Ugh. Don't you just hate exams? Worst part is, another exam is popping up around next week.

Anyway, now that I am back, I am more than ready to swing at anything, anyone throws me. As of right now, I am NOT taking any requests, due to the fact that I still have to finish a couple that I promised people a month ago that I'd do. Once again, I'm sorry for the wait, but I am aiming to post them by the end of next week, so keep a look-out for them!

If you do have a request for me, write it down so you won't forget about it, because I will gladly do a request for you once I am completely done with the others! Or, if you don't have a pencil and a piece of paper handy, you could always just tell your request in a comment for this journal! I will write it down, and start working on it as soon as possible.

Can anyone else believe that it is already March, 12?! That's crazy! The days are NOT suppose to be going by this fast! It seems like the days keep flying by me and I am barely getting anything done! Ugh! It is so frustrating... *sighs*

Gah, finally! I finally uploaded a couple photos that I have been harboring for like... a month! Oh well, at least they're up now.

Oh, and I'm also back to writing, I had to take a short break, due to the fact that my brain cells were fried. Too much yaoi will do that to you, just so you know. Haha. So, hopefully I will be uploading some of those... ehm... unique stories soon. Yeah, once I post them, you'll see why I call them unique.

Clubs:

One of my dearest friends, Caila, 17, of Dayton went home to be with her Lord on Monday, at her home, while surrounded by her loving family. Caila has been battling against a rare form of cancer, called Ewing's sarcoma, for three long, hard years .

She was the kind of person who you would have never thought something as drastic as cancer could take control of her life. She was a very athletic girl, belonging to the Cheerleading Club, Gymnastic Club, 4-H club, and the Tennis Club. She loved her family and friends with all of her heart along with her dog, Cleo and her horse, Summer. She lived life to the fullest, knowing that one day she wouldn’t be able to any longer. Even though she was diagnosed, she never gave up hope, she believed that she was going to get better and that she would be yet another cancer survivor. She was a fighter, through and through.

After two successful treatments of chemo, they had finally thought that Caila had concurred her disease and was ready to get back to being a normal teenage girl. She was cancer-free for a year, before they found the starting of a small tumor in her femur. From there on, Caila’s condition got worst, that small tumor started to spread out to every bone and organ of her body. Before she knew it, the cancer slowly found it’s way into her brain, causing her to lose almost all of her functions, including speech, movement, and sight. She lay in the hospital for weeks on end, before finally getting the permission to go home with her family to enjoy her last few weeks. She died peacefully in her own bed on January 14, 2008, with her family around her and her dog, Cleo on her lap.

Caila’s favorite saying was, “Never, ever give up.” She lived that saying. She never did give up, until that final, painful breath.

We all know that she is in a better place now, where she no longer has to suffer from the pain that her cancer has put her through. She will surely be missed.

I’m sorry if you thought that this was a waist of time and that it doesn’t have anything that deals with you, but I felt the need to post this. I just think that we should all take Caila’s favorite saying and live by it as well. We should never give up, no matter what life throws at us. We should stand strong and if we get knocked down, we should just brush ourselves off and get right back up. It would mean so much to me if you could just possibly remember to keep her family in mind and in your prayers. I thank those few of you who took the time to read this.
